Vail Lodging

Vail Hotels and Lodging Accommodation choices at Vail are unlimited. Vail accommodations include hotels, condos, vacation rentals, and B&Bs to cater to most tastes and budgets. Vail Village and Lionshead are the two most popular and vibrant base areas, although Vail lodging is spread across four main villages. Moving from east to west (left to right on the trail map) these are Golden Peak, Vail Village, Lionshead and Cascade Village. Click on the map in the right hand corner to view a map of Vail lodging.

All four villages at Vail have their own lift access to Vail Mountain and they are well inter-connected by a free bus service.

Vail Village Accommodations
Vail Village is the centre of all the action and the main hub of the restaurants, bars and shops of Vail. The Vail Village is largely a pedestrian village with heated walkways and a European charm. The Vista Bahn Express is the lift that rises from Vail Village. There are a few accommodations that are close to this lift, but ski-in ski-out accommodation at Vail Village is a rarity. Some of the upscale hotels provide slopeside ski and snowboard storage and valet services so that walking to the lift is very easy.

It’s smaller than Vail Village, but it’s still vibrant and there is a good range of restaurants, bars, shops and services. Ski-in ski-out accommodation is also rare in Lionshead, but there are properties such as the Arrabelle that are just a stone’s throw from the Eagle Bahn gondola.
