With
Life in White Adventures you’ll have exclusive access to untouched terrain in the wild Andes and great crew vibes. Tours are limited to 5 people with a ratio of 1:1 snowmobile/pilot per client. The tours are mixed group so solos, duos and small groups are welcome to join.

Terrain
The Maule region has peaks that go up to 4.000 m (13.000 ft) and the terrain is endless and amazing for snowmobile assisted freeriding. The zone is completely uncrowded and you most likely won’t see another soul besides your group. And if there are another couple of snowmobile groups, the place is so big that there are fresh lines and skiing/riding spots for everyone.
There are lots of different spots to use as a trailhead depending on the snow and road conditions, although a common starting point is the Paso Pehuenche at 2,200 to 2,500 metres. The terrain varies from very accessible wide open bowls to narrow and steep chutes, and the Maule region has plenty to fulfil your freeride appetite.
Another amazing feature about these mountains is that you can ride from top to bottom without the need to have a guide ski in front of you, so this makes the whole operation much faster and means more runs for you. The runs in Maule are approximately 500 to 700 metres of vertical. The pilots drop you at the top and while you get ready to drop, the staff drive down to the base of the run where they always will have you in sight and can assist you very quickly if required. The group will communicate via radios, so this keeps the operation agile and efficient. You will ski or ride the whole day, until your legs say enough, with no set amount of runs per day.
Snow
The snow in the Maule region is very abundant and of very good quality. Most of the winter storms in Chile drop most of their precipitation in the Maule, Ñuble (Chillan) and the Araucania regions. In Maule there is the bonus of altitude, with higher mountains and higher starting spots. Combined with a perfectly paved and maintained access road, it's possible to get very deep into the Andes, much deeper than any other resort or zone further south. This combination of high volumes of snowfall, low humidity and protection from the strong winds make the Maule one of the best spots for chasing powder in the Andes.
Even with positive temperatures in late winter, the snow remains good due to the lack of humidity and very cold nights. It's a natural freezer and a one of a kind spot.
