Ski Montenegro

Montenegro is a fascinating country from its incredible fjordlike coast on the Adriatic Sea up into the high mountains. Whilst there have been a handful of ski resorts in Montenegro for many years, these days only two are operating. Recently, alot of money has been injected into the local ski industry, particularly at the rapidly developing Kolasin ski resort. Elsewhere, further north in the impressive Durmitor National Park, the small Savin Kuk - Žabljak ski area holds some attraction for freeriders when the conditons are right. To the southwest, the stupendously named 'Accursed Mountains' that form the border with Kosovo and Albania are aa mecca for ski-touring, plus over the borders, cat skiing & heliskiing.
