Pontedilegno-Tonale Ski Lessons & Guiding

If visiting Pontedilegno-Tonale and you are looking to improve your ski or snowboard technique or want help navigating your way around the myriad of ski lifts & trails, or if you want to be guided to the best off-piste terrain in safety; having a local guide or ski instructor on hand can make your wishes come true. Similarly, if you are just starting out and want to learn the basics on the novice terrain at Passo Tonale or down in the valley at Ponte di Legno or Temù villages, a private lesson with a qualified instructor is the best way to go.

For hunters of big mountain powder, the best off-piste terrain at the resort is up in the Passo Tonale sector. Accessed via the Paradiso gondola, there are numerous wonderful freeride descents from the top station at Passo Presena (3,000m), and from lower down at the Cappana Presena (2,753m) or Passo Paradiso mid-stations. One of the better freeride runs, and best down with a guide, is the 1,100m vertical Cantiere freeride descent. Just for added intrigue, it includes a tunnel section to return into the resort. Another classic is the Canale del Diavolo, a broad couloir that can be viewed from the opposite side of the pass. Other great terrain is on the sunny side of Tonale below the Bleis & Nigritella chairs. The lower 300m vertical in particular (under & around the painfully slow Nigritella quad), with its glades is great fun in powder, and perfect for low visibility days. Following someone that knows there way around in poor visibility here would be awesome fun indeed.
