  • All heli ski Canada companies offer private charters, and most offer semi-private or group heli skiing (ie a solo or couple can join others). Note that Eagle Pass only offers day heli skiing as a private (ie pull your own group together).
  • Whilst some BC heli skiing operators may offer a set number of runs, it is possible to purchase additional runs at the end of your allotted number of runs if all in the group are agreeable.
  • Some day operators are ideal for those new to heli skiing (e.g. RK Heliski, Selkirk Tangiers) whilst others are well suited to experts (e.g. Eagle Pass, Stellar Heliskiing)
  • We all know that Canadians can’t decide whether to use metric or imperial so we’ve used a bit of both!

  • All of the BC heli skiing outfits offer private heli skiing charters, and most offer group heli skiing (ie a solo or couple can join others). A couple of operators primarily or only offer private heli skiing (ie pull your own group together) such as Silvertip Heli-Skiing (private, solos can join some dates), Bear Paw and Kingfisher (semi private or private).

Compare Cost for Multi-Day BC Heli Skiing

A major factor in considering the value of heli skiing in Canada is to look at prices in the table below, but also some of the elements in the table above, such as group size, guest to guide ratio, and the number of groups using the one helicopter. Small group heli skiing is far superior to large group heli skiing that you find with many of the CMH outfits that have one guide and 11 guests in one group, and 3 or 4 groups using the one bird. A little more information on the pros and cons of small group heli skiing is outlined on the heli skiing Canada overview.
