The Porches
The Porches is a cluster of high end vacation homes that are just exquisite. The exteriors of these Colorado mountain homes have a beautiful western feel and blend well with the surroundings. The houses are very spacious and have been delightfully crafted with clever design and quality furnishings. As the name would suggest, each house features a relaxing porch where views of the mountains and valley can be enjoyed.
Where is The Porches?
The Porches neighbourhood is located just a little down from the
Steamboat ski resort, about 0.7 miles from the base area at Gondola Square (a 2-3 minute drive). Downtown
Steamboat Springs is 2.8 miles away (8 minute drive). The peaceful locale is away from the hustle of the ski resort base and the town, yet it’s close enough to allow easy access.
The Porches provide regular shuttle services between the ski resort and your house, and on-demand shuttles to get you anywhere around Steamboat Springs. Or if you have your own car, it’s pretty easy to drive into town because parking is not an issue.
House Features
The vacation homes are either 4 or 5 bedroom and are massive with 3,000 - 5,000+ square footage. Each Porches town home has beautiful lodging with:

The Barn
All guests have full access to The Barn, an elegantly appointed club house that is within easy walking distance of each of the houses. The Barn includes:

- Outdoor gathering space with BBQ and fire pit
- Outdoor pool and hot tubs
- Flat screen TVs
- Pool table and checkers table
- Kitchen area where you can grab a coffee and muffin
- Kids’ games room including a Wii
- Fitness centre, steam room, and locker rooms with showers
- Business centre with computer, printer and fax
The Barn also houses the concierge services which can include:
- Pre-arrival grocery shopping
- Babysitting
- Dinner reservations
- Suggestions and bookings for local activities
- Organise and provide discounts on lift tickets, airport shuttles and ski rental delivery
- Book a private chef
Other Services
Other services include:
- Daily newspapers delivered to your front door
- Complimentary shuttle within the city limits (7:15am to 10:45pm) so you can go shopping or head to downtown Steamboat Springs restaurants
- Ski shuttle including a complimentary ski-in ski-out valet service at the Ptarmigan Inn where you can store your ski or snowboard equipment. You can also organise equipment rentals or tuning here, so it’s all too easy!
