Itinerary

Day 1 - Pick up from the New Chitose Airport and relax as you're driven through the snowy mountain passes until you arrive in the world's number one powder Mecca that is Niseko. Check in to your accommodation and get settled in. 7pm briefing on the trip.

Day 2 - There's no holding back. Get those legs working as you hike the lesser known areas of the Annupuri range. On clear days you will be able to see the sea of Japan and Niseko Ski Resort. If it's not a clear day, then it's most likely dumping with snow (stay in Niseko). 

Day 3 - Around a one hour drive from Niseko is a stand alone mountain that is perfect for a day of touring. You can expect to get a few laps in today and enjoy sparse tree runs loaded with deep powder pockets all the way down (transfer north to Furano). 

Day 4 - Up here in Central Hokkaido, the mountains are bigger, the powder has low moisture content, and the touring options are endless. The knowledgeable guides lead the way to one of Daisetsuzan’s many majestic zones where the powder is in abundance (stay in Furano). 

Day 5 - A hidden forest adventure is on the cards for today. Glide past ancient pines before descending into bottomless bowls of white gold. Keep an eye out for wildlife because there’s plenty to be seen (stay in Furano). 

Day 6 - Known as ‘Kamui Mintara’ or the "Playground of the Gods", you'll spend your final adventure day on Hokkaido's tallest mountain. This place gets caked with epic powder snow and on clear days the group will take the tour up to the billowing fumaroles of the volcano before ascending towards the crater. For white out days there are plenty of sheltered powder stashes (stay in Furano). 

Day 7 - Return to Chitose Airport or Niseko after breakfast

The weather forecast will be checked regularly by the guides. Safety predictions based on these will be given each morning at breakfast before heading to the objective. In the case of bad weather conditions there may be the possibility to explore an alternative area or spend 2 days at one of the above mentioned areas if the weather permits.

Accommodation

You will be staying in a hotel in Niseko and in Furano within walking distance to restaurants/bars/convenience stores. Rooms are shared twin bed rooms.

If you are a solo traveller there is the option to upgrade to a single room for an additional charge.

Terms & Conditions

CANCELATION POLICY

• Day guides: A full payment is required upon time of booking. If booking is canceled a 20% deposit will be non-refundable. This deposit is fully transferable till 30 days prior to the start date.  
• Multi day tours: Private tour: A 50% deposit is required upon the time of booking. The outstanding 50% is due 30 days prior to the booking start date. If booking is canceled a 30% deposit will be non-refundable. Once a tour has commenced from the date specified 100% is non refundable.
• Group Tour: An initial deposit of ¥250,000 yen per person is required to secure your place and then the remainder will be calculated and invoiced 30 days prior to booking. If booking is canceled the ¥250,000 deposit will be non-refundable. 

CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELER:

• 30 plus days prior to booking date commencement – deposit will be forfeited but transferable to a later date or the next season
• 8 – 29 days prior to booking commencement – 50% of total booking value will be forfeited
• Up to 7 days prior to booking commencement – total booking value will be forfeited

RIGHTS RESERVED:

• Summit Ski cannot offer refunds for missed reservations, early departures, inclement weather/extreme avalanche danger, snow conditions, or force majeure events and are not responsible for additional expenses incurred in preparing for the trip (e.g. airline tickets, visa application fees, equipment purchases, etc).

CANCELLATIONS BY SUMMIT SKI

• Summit Ski School & Guiding reserves the right to cancel any guided or instructional day before it is confirmed to run or due to circumstances beyond our control. If this occurs, you will be given the option of changing to another guided or instructional day if available or receiving a full refund. Summit is not responsible for any incidental expense agents or participants have incurred as a result of your booking. If an alternative guided or instructional day is chosen and it is at a lower value than the original booked guided or instructional day Summit will refund the difference. If the alternative guided or instructional day is of a higher value, then you will pay the difference in price.

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT FORM:

• A Participant Agreement form is required for each person booked to a guided or instructional day. For group bookings, it is the responsibility of the person, whose name holds the booking, to ensure that each member of their group has read and understands the participant agreement form. The person whose name holds the booking takes full responsibility for the group in agreement with terms and conditions as well as the participant agreement form, regardless if the participant form has been signed or not. Participant agreement forms are preferably filled in prior to a guided or instructional day or completed before first lift on the day of the booking. If the customer fails to sign the participant form then the customer confirms that their payment will be recognised and counted as agreement and confirmation of all details within participant form as well as confirmation for the terms and conditions.

REFUNDS:

• If you are eligible for a refund once a booking has been canceled, the balance less any non-refundable amounts & cancellation fees will be forwarded to you within 2-6 weeks.
