We did a 1-day guided sidecountry and backcountry tour on Asahidake with Buta as our guide. Buta was an incredible guide - knowledgeable of the area, safety conscious but also aiming to get us into fresh tracks along different parts of the mountain. 10/10 would recommend!

Myself and my friends had a great experience with our Summit tour guide, Teun. He optimized and adapted our day to our skill and equipment levels and gave us a good run down of places to ski and enjoy. I really appreciated Teun being a strategic and mindful guide with snowboarding - always showing and warning against bottoming out spots and places to stay high and maintain speed. We had a great time all around and feel really comfortable around the mountain now. Thanks!

First time touring with Summit ski and they did deliver on the tour that we wanted. What was special was they let us design our own tour which is what we wanted. We told them what we wanted and Summit did everything else. Jack and Makenzie’s team did an outstanding job and our guide Luka was amazing.
I would recommend them to anyone that is looking to ski the Hokkaido pow.

Kyler was an amazing guide and person and leveraged our trip to another level.
His experience and decision making helped us to get the maximum out of our trip and he always made sure to plan the day based on our needs and expectations.
Although it could have had more fresh snow during our stay, our guide always managed to find beautiful spots for skiing and having fun.
Would highly recommend Kyler/Summit Ski to anyone.
