Had the pleasure of a nearly two week session which was side and back country focused in February 2024. Andy is an expert skier and guide. He has decades of mountain experience and also has significant local knowledge in Hokkaido. Andy paired groups quite well and curated epic days in the purist conditions. It was most definitely a life highlight. Highly recommend Shimogoryo especially if you’re a strong to epic skier.
