Nekoma Ski Resort is the crown jewel of skiing and snowboard in Aizu Japan, especially now that the ski area has amalgamated and inter-connected the Urabandai Nekoma ski area on the northern flank or backside of Mt Bandai, with the former Alts Bandai ski area on the front side of Mount Bandai.

If you are only in the Aizu area for a short time then a guided tour of the resort is the best way to find all of the best areas and best powder stashes in a single day.

This guided day tour of Nekoma Ski Resort includes in-resort, off-piste skiing and sidecountry, with a local Japanese guide who will show you around the resort as well as the best place for lunch. To get the most out of the terrain at Nekoma, it's ideal if your group participants are of at least strong intermediate to advanced ability in powder and other off-piste snow conditions.

The tour kicks off as the lift opens and you guide will meet you at the North Gate of Nekoma.

Group Type

These guided day tours are for private groups only of up to 6 participants i.e. you cannot join a group as a solo traveller. The rates are fixed per day for 1-3 participants and then an additional charge for each additional guest.  See the rates for a full day here>>
