Full Ikon Pass provides unlimited access to some resorts, and up to 5-7 days at other resorts. No blackout dates. Ikon Base Pass has more restrictions. The Ikon Pass provides full access to many ski resorts, and up to 7 days of riding at a myriad of other resorts. The Ikon Base Pass is cheaper but is associated with more restrictions and less resorts. For the Alps, see the Europe Ikon Pass ski areas page for more information.

Blackout days vary a little from year to year and fall around the peak holiday period such as between Xmas and New Years, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Valentine's Day. For the Southern Hemisphere the blackout dates fall across the first couple of weeks of July.
