Where is Niseko Annupuri?
Niseko Annupuri Ski Resort (Niseko Annupuri Kokusai) is part of
Niseko Japan in Hokkaido and is 97km southwest of the city of Sapporo and 114km west of the New Chitose Airport (Sapporo Airport).
Located on Mount Niseko Annupuri (even though “Nupuri” means “mountain” in the Ainu language) like the other Niseko ski areas, Annupuri Ski Resort is interconnected with
Niseko Village via the slopes.
Annupuri is inter-connected with
Moiwa Ski Resort via the piste to get there but the connection is via the sidecountry to get back. By road, Moiwa is 1.8km from the Annupuri Gondola. The Konbu Onsen area (with hotels such as
Niseko Grand Hotel and
Niseko Konbu Onsen Tsuruga Moku-no-sho) is about 2km from the central part of Annupuri Village or 2.8km from the Annupuri Gondola.

Travel from Sapporo Airport to Annupuri
You can get to Niseko Annupuri from the New Chitose Airport or Sapporo City via shuttle bus, private transfer, train (see Navitime for routes and fares) or self-driving.
Airport Bus to Annupuri
Hokkaido Resort Liner provides an inexpensive airport shuttle service about 10 times a day, and the trip takes 2 to 3 hours depending on road conditions. There is a bus stop at the Northern Resort Annupuri and Niseko Grand Hotel, and if you’re not staying there, your accommodation will likely pick-up you up.
Bookings for the airport bus open from August and must be made at least 9 days in advance.

Private Airport Transfer to Annupuri
Otherwise you can get a
private airport transfer directly to your accommodation and not be locked into a bus schedule. Airport private transfers to/from Annupuri are available for 1 to 30 people, and you can pay extra if you want to stop along the way for shopping.
Driving to Annupuri
Driving is ideal if you want to visit various nearby ski areas. Driving is reasonably easy now that GPS are in English, and rental cars are 4WD/AWD have snow tyres so you won’t need to put chains on. You can
rent a car at New Chitose Airport or in Sapporo. Please note that an international driver's license is required. See our

Travel Around Niseko
There are Niseko United shuttle buses that travel between Annupuri (Northern Resort Annupuri & Annupuri Ski Resort) and Higashiyama (Niseko Village) and
Hirafu. The buses to Annupuri don’t go particularly late in the evening, and after that a taxi from Hirafu to Annupuri will be rather expensive.
