This tour will visit the all the ski resorts of the Haute Tarentaise including Val d'Isere, Tignes, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Sainte Foy, La Rosiere & of course, Valmorel.
Those who already know the Haute Tarentaise will be pleasantly surprised to discover a completely different facet of this fantastic valley. For a week you'll ski across glaciers, down untouched snowfields, through forests and down the valley floor to the villages below. Every day your guide chooses the best itinerary to make the most of the local snow and weather conditions. Skiing & Snowboarding Terrain
Even those that already know the Haute Tarentaise will be pleasantly surprised to discover a completely different side of this fantastic valley during the tour. From the top of a ski lift you will traverse, hike or skin away from the ski resort to find the secret passages that will reward you with descents up to 2,000 metres vertical (over 6,000 vertical feet) on virgin slopes even after several days of good weather. Ski the powder on the most amazing north-aspect faces in the region: Bellecôte, Aiguille Rouge, Foglietta, without forgetting the corridor of the "9 valleys" in La Lauzière between Valmorel and Saint François Longchamp … to name a few.

Accommodation & Food
The tour includes accommodation in three traditional, 'small' hotels, all run by local families. As you ski from one part of the valley to another, your luggage is transported by road to the next nights’ accommodation! The tour includes all breakfasts and dinners. Lunches are not included in the tariff, but the guide will know the best mountain huts to visit for delicious local fare, or perhaps the group will pool resources for a picnic in the snow.

Skier Ability & Fitness
This tour caters to strong intermediate to expert skiers. You should as a minimum be able to ski a steep black run with short, controlled turns, plus you should have some prior experience off-piste and in variable snow conditions including deep powder.
This tour incorporates lift access with traversing, hiking, and skinning to get to the best untracked snow, therefore you should have a good level of fitness.
Getting There & Away
The start and finish of the tour is the village of Saint-Foy-Tarentaise at Hotel Monal. The hotel is on the road between Bourg St Maurice & Val d'Isere. Access is easy by rental or personal car, by train & bus or taxi via Bourg St Maurice, or private transfer from the airport. Closest airports are Geneva (GVA) & Lyon (LYS).
