The Way It Was ..... Still Is!!

If you hanker for the 'good old days' of skiing when resorts were small village-based affairs loaded with families enjoying themselves on a few surface lifts & a chairlift thrown in for good measure, Axalp is your place. To go with the simple pleasures of Axalp are the obligatory tricky road up, the steepest start to a sledding trail going round, a few tasty off-piste powder options, and incredible views across the glacial-blue coloured waters of Lake Brienz.
