Where is Bergeralm Austria?

The Bergeralm ski resort is in the Wipptal of the Austrian Tyrol, only 20km south of the world’s greatest ski city, Innsbruck. The A13 motorway to the Brenner Pass (& Italy) runs directly below the ski area – with a valley trail going under the elevated roadway near the resort base! The closest village is Steinach am Brenner. The resort is an easy 10min (700m) walk from the centre of the village. The best airports for Bergeralm are Innsbruck (INN) & Munich (MUC).

The recommended mode of travel from the airports is by train via Innsbruck. The bahnhof is a 15min walk or short bus ride to/from the ski resort base area.
