Arpa Heli Ski – New for 2026
Arpa Heliski in Chile is based in the Aconcagua Valley and home to towering peaks in the vicinity of the mighty Mt Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Southern and Western hemisphere.
Arpa is a hidden alpine gem and the ultimate gateway to the great mountains of the Central Andes. It is an area defined by its vertical scale and high altitude terrain, providing the ultimate playground for those seeking the raw power and powder of the Chilean mountains. The region acts as a perfect high altitude base, allowing for rapid access to expansive backcountry and pristine powder runs far from the crowded ski resorts.
The helicopter used by Arpa Heliski is an AS 350 B3 which is an agile high-performance, single-engine light utility helicopter renowned for its exceptional altitude performance.
The package includes 3 days of heli skiing with a guarantee of 3,000 metres of vertical per day, lodging double share, meals, and transfers from the city of Santiago or the Santiago Airport.
Group
Arpa Heliski offers small group heli skiing with 4 guests per group, with up to 3 groups utilising the helicopter. You can pull together your own group. Alternatively solos, duos or trios can
make a booking request to be matched with others to form a group.
Where is Arpa Heliski?
Arpa Heliski is based in the Aconcagua Valley of Chile, not far from Los Andes or the
Portillo Ski Resort.
The gateway airport is Santiago’s International Airport, Aeropuerto Internacional Arturo Merino Benitez.
You can stay at San Regis, which is a 1:20 hour drive from the airport.
The optional upgrade hotel is Termas de Jahuel, which is a 1:35 hour drive from the airport.
Transfers between the airport or Santiago and your hotel are provided.
