Where is the Wanaka Edgewater Resort?
The Wanaka Edgewater Resort is situated on Sargood Drive, Rippon Lea, Lake Wanaka on the shores of Lake Wanaka (about 2 mins drive to Wanaka town centre).
Accommodation The Edgewater Resort has 1 or 2 bedroom self contained apartments. One bedroom apartments sleep up to 4 people whilst the 2 bedroom apartments sleep up to 6 people. The apartments come with a variety of bed configurations suitable for couples, singles or families/groups, and the lounge area has a sofa that pulls out to a queen bed.
The living areas contain a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining table, and a spacious lounge area with comforts such as a TV, DVD and CD player. All apartments open to a courtyard or a balcony, and have laundry facilities.
Wifi internet access is available in the apartments for a fee.
Resort Facilities
The resort has a cafe, a restaurant (open from 7am for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and cosy bar.
If you need to relax those muscles after a big day on the slopes, there is a spa (hot tub) and sauna. There is also a cosy fireplace inside the main building which is a great place to hang out and have a drink.
Other facilities include 2 tennis courts, a 9 hole putting green and a children's playground.
