Sachi no yu Hotel at Shiga Kogen is in a secluded location, 1.6km from the Kumanoyu Ski Area & on-demand shuttles are provided. Japanese rooms (2-8 people, western twin rooms, & combo rooms, most of which have at least a toilet. Traditional meals, public bath & other facilities.
Where is Sachi no yu?
Sachi no yu is located at the southern end of Shiga Kogen, close to the former Kidoike Ski Area which closed some time ago. The Kumanoyu Ski Area of Shiga Kogen offers the closest slopes, being about 1.6km away. Kumanoyu is connected to the Yokoteyama ski area, and both offer quiet slopes. The hotel offers an on-demand shuttle service to Kumanoyu or to Yamanoeki station where you can enter the central Shiga Kogen ski areas to ski to the northern areas.
To get to the Sachinoyu hotel, you can take a bus from Nagano train station (the hotel will provide more information) to the local Hiratoko bus stop, from where the hotel staff will pick you up.
