I had an amazing stay at Heta. This was my first time skiing in Nozawa. The hotel is a short 3-5 minute walk to the main gondola and also to the main street for restaurants and bar. Everything is walkable and everyone is very helpful.

I stayed in the Black Room on the main level. It was easy to check in and out. Kazu Mi at the front desk was the most helpful and polite. She did everything to answer my questions and make my stay comfortable.

The onsite private sauna, steam room and bath was a highlight after skiing. Though there are public Osens close by having the option in the hotel that was private made relaxing easy.

There is also a bar onsite with specialty craft cocktails. KazuYa the bartender was very friendly and kept me company as a solo traveler. It was a nice option for a drink before heading into town. The bar is closed on Thursdays.

I was also honored to meet the owner on my last morning who was kind enough to take me to the train station when I missed my bus. The hospitality and kindness of the staff was incredible! 10/10 will stay again!
