The Lodge

Powder Recon Lodge has been lovingly refurbished to accentuate traditional Japanese décor with lovely wood features and shoji screens, yet it has western comforts and modern conveniences. Sleeping a maximum of 18 guests, The Lodge offers a communal area where you can socialise with other guests.

Where is the Powder Recon Lodge?

The Lodge enjoys a fantastic location in Akakura Onsen in Myoko Kogen, right opposite the Akakura Onsen ski resort slopes and close to the Akakura Kanko Ski Resort. The Lodge is only 250 metres walk to the main part of the Akakura Onsen village with its various eateries, bars and shops.

The rooms have comfortable western mattresses, many of which are on bed frames close to the floor, so as to retain the aesthetics of Japan.
