Me and 3 buddies booked the 4 day Classic program the 2nd week of April and enjoyed an amazing time! I've heli'd with other multi-day, full-board operators in Alaska & Nevada and these guys do it right. The staff, guides, accommodations, food, evening's fun, communications, etc. take 1st prize. The mountains are literally in the back yard and the terrain is advanced to solid intermediate... long and fun runs. (No one beats AK wins for expert gnar). They were having a thin season this year but the pilots & guides still found us the goods... on day 1 we rode 15,000 vertical feet, day 2 was 24,500 vert, day 3 was 14,000 vert... that burned our 4 heli hours and we were good. Day 4 we went into town for lunch and then the Forest Hot Pools & Spa for needed R&R before our flights home. FYI: We arrived 4 days early and toured southern Iceland... Incredible... 100 waterfalls, geysers, geothermal hot pool lagoons, scenery from Lord of Rings, Northern Lights, glaciers, icebergs... just other worldly amazing.
