Groups

These packages are for your private group. If you're a solo or duo wanting to join others to form a group, see the Classic Package.

Ability Level

As a minimum, you need to be a strong intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder. This ability level is for skiing/riding off-piste snow conditions, rather than just on-piste. When snowpack risks are low, some groups may ski steep aggressive lines, whilst the mainstream terrain is more akin to a blue or black diamond run, obviously minus any grooming and minus any crowds.

Skeena River Lodge

The lodge isn’t just somewhere to lay your head at night, but rather an experience. The Skeena River Lodge can be described as Canadian rustic luxury, with meticulous attention to detail, quality and efficiency. The lodge has been recently renovated, tastefully appointed, and provides lots of comforts for the downtimes when you’re not out skiing or riding virgin snow.

Guest Rooms & Cabins

The lodge has sixteen welcoming rooms and cabins that are located close to the main lodge. Each log chalet has 2 queen beds, a writing desk, private bathroom and a small wood-burning stove. Regular packages are based on double occupancy. Single occupancy is available upon request for a surcharge and when bookings allow.

Facilities & Services

Two main custom-built log buildings house the amenities and services. These include:
  • Dining area
  • Bar
  • Lounge with fireplace
  • Outdoor hot tub where you might get a view of the Northern Lights
  • Finnish Sauna – elegantly crafted from pine wood and just a few steps away from your log cabin
  • Bio Sauna – idyllically designed with natural materials
  • Steam sauna
  • Infrared sauna
  • Gymnasium - start your morning with stretching and warm-up exercises
  • Games room
  • Massage services
  • Relaxation room
  • Boot room
  • Retail shop
  • Limited but workable cell coverage.
  • Reasonable internet service - you won’t be able to stream movies but you’ll be able to send and receive emails, and browse your social media sites

Meals

Your taste buds will be pampered. The cuisine is prepared onsite by the chef, using local and organically grown food where possible. The executive chef is dedicated to providing an experience in the dining room that perfectly mirrors those had on the mountain: nothing short of spectacular.

Terms and Conditions

Release of liability & assumption-of-risk agreement

All guests must read, understand, and agree with the terms of the RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (the "Release Agreement") prior to booking a package with White Wilderness Heliskiing.

All guests must sign the Release Agreement, which is standard in this industry, before the first day of skiing. The waiver will be personally presented and witnessed on arrival at the Skeena River Lodge. However, it will be assumed that all guests have read, understood, and accepted the terms of the Release Agreement at the time of transfer from the Terrace Regional Airport to the Skeena River Lodge.

White Wilderness Heliskiing uses a booking system that provides a secure portal for each customer to read and accept the Release Agreement, prior to remitting a payment.

Cancellation conditions and travel insurance

In order to confirm your booking, a 20%, non-refundable deposit payment is required at the time of booking.

The outstanding payment must be paid 90 days before the first day of skiing.

Full payment becomes non-refundable within 90 days before the first day of skiing.

White Wilderness Heliskiing is proud to include medical, accident and rescue insurance as standard for our guests. In the event of illness or injury, you can consider yourself insured as soon as you land in Terrace. However, WWH explicitly urge guests to insure themselves against the unexpected. Travel cancellation insurance covers you in the event that you have to cancel your trip before the first day of skiing due to unforeseen circumstances. Travel disruption insurance additionally qualifies you for reimbursement of costs in the event that your time with us has to be cut short due to illness or injury.

Reimbursement guidelines

Should bad weather or mechanical problems prevent the achievement of the guaranteed minimum cumulative elevation gain of your experience, the remaining cumulative elevation gain will be credited to you at a price of CAD 140.00 per every 1000 meters as credit for a future booking. This personal credit is valid for 2 years from the date of issue and it is not transferable.

No reimbursement in the event of:

  • Late arrival or early departure of guests.
  • If guests can't / don't know how or don't want to ski.
  • Late arrival in Terrace by aeroplane or car due to bad weather.
  • The vertical meters are calculated based on what is actually skied or boarded per group per day by the guide.

Please get in touch for any questions you may have regarding terms and conditions.
