Rimrock Resort Hotel Banff
The Rimrock Hotel is a large resort hotel perched up high on Sulphur Mountain close to the Banff gondola and the Upper Banff Hot Springs. Considering its Upper Banff location, one of the main drawcards are the views afforded from the hotel rooms and restaurants and bar. The Rimrock Hotel Banff has comprehensive facilities and offers high levels of service – it is a AAA/CAA Four Diamond Hotel.
Where is the Rimrock Hotel Banff?
Situated in the Canadian Rockies in the Banff National Park, the Rimrock Resort Hotel is 4km from the
Banff town centre. A bus stop for the ROAM bus (number 1 bus route) is located out the front and the hotel provides free bus passes. The buses depart about every 40 minutes.
If you don’t have a car and you want to go skiing at the Banff ski resorts, the staff can provide a shuttle service to the Mont Royal bus stop in town (as the ROAM bus timetables don’t line up well with the resort buses), where buses to Sunshine, Norquay and Lake Louise depart.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Upper Banff Hot Springs and 5 minutes from the Banff Gondola.
Rooms
The Rimrock Hotel has standard and premium king rooms, and standard and premium queen rooms with 2 queen beds (for up to 4 guests).
