Banff Accommodation

There are lots of hotels in Banff to cater for various budgets, ranging from the Banff Springs Hotel which is more like a castle, to deluxe hotels, and various cheap and cheerful inns. Other Banff lodging includes motels, B&Bs, and hostels.

The Banff ski resorts are within the Banff National Park so with the exception of the Sunshine Mountain Lodge at Sunshine Village, there is no ski-in ski-out accommodation or on-mountain lodging, thereby necessitating a daily commute to get to the ski resorts. Most people choose to stay in the town of Banff or its outskirts. Or you can stay a little further afield in Canmore accommodation, or if you think you’ll spend more time at the Lake Louise ski resort then you can stay in Lake Louise accommodation.

If you don’t have a car, the hotels in Banff with pick up points for the Banff ski resorts shuttle service include: Rocky Mountain Resort; Inns of Banff; Banff Caribou Lodge; Delta Royal Canadian Lodge; High Country Inn; Ptarmigan Inn (with the Moose Hotel next door); and Fairmont Banff Springs. Or most of the other downtown Banff accommodations are just a short walk to a bus stop.
