C'mon Inn

C’mon Inn, Bozeman Montana - Info & Review More of a holiday destination than a motel, the C’mon Inn at Bozeman is a sensory delight as well as an oasis from the cold. Part water park, part natural history museum, this is a motel like no other (unless you count the other 7 C’mon Inns across the US!), and one you won’t forget in a hurry for all the right reasons. The massive courtyard running through the middle of the building contains ponds with fish, hot tubs and pools galore, waterfalls, rocks and trees, furs, racks and full mounts of the local mega fauna, couches and table settings, and interior verandas.

Where is the C’mon Inn? The C’mon Inn is located in the great state of Montana on the edge of Bozeman just off interstate I90 and right at the turnoff for Bridger Bowl. Take Exit 305, a quick left and right into E Valley Centre Road and you’re there.

The closest major airport is in Bozeman. Other airports also service rural Montana.

Skiing wise, Bridger Bowl is a short drive away, and Moonlight Basin and Big Sky are an hour south.

Rooms Rooms either face inwards into the massive courtyard area or outwards with views to the mountains or downtown Bozeman.

Room styles range from standard motel style doubles to large Jacuzzi suites. All rooms have delightfully comfortable bedding and all the mod cons like in room movies, flat screen TVs, blow dryers, iron/boards and coffee makers.

Suites have small kitchenettes with fridge, sink and microwave. They also have a dining setting and lounge suite, plus a huge inward facing veranda looking across the atrium. Jacuzzi suites have a very roomy 2 person spa bath.

The bedding in all rooms is of a high standard and allows for a blissful slumber.

On weekends the motel does appear to be very popular with people that are effectively utilising it as a water park vacation destination. The associated noise can be a tad much at these times. It is amazing how early some people will get up to jump into a hot tub! If staying on a weekend request an outward facing room.

Facilities and Services Facilities at the C’mon Inn:
  • Extensive complimentary breakfast;
  • Complimentary coffee / tea (plus flavourings for sweet-tooths) in the courtyard all day;
  • Multiple indoor lounge areas with couches, tables, outdoor settings, flat screen TV and fireplace;
  • Full laundry facilities throughout the motel;
  • Complimentary Wi Fi internet is available throughout the building;
  • Daily snow report and updated road/weather info;
  • 5 x indoor hot tubs, 4 in the atrium amongst waterfalls and one in the pool area;
  • Huge indoor pool and separate baby pool;
  • Small gym/weights room;
  • Business centre and meeting rooms;
  • Parking directly adjacent to the main building;
  • ATM;
  • 24hr reception.
Dining Breakfasts are part of the package at the C’mon Inn. Whilst a bit heavy on the sugar and fat, on any given day there is enough variety to please most people. On one morning the Powderhounds tallied up the following impressive list of options – 4 types of coffee, 6 types of tea, orange juice, apple juice, cereal, pancakes with maple syrup, blueberry, cherry and pineapple, fresh fruit – bananas and apples, 3 types of toast – bread, English muffins and bagels, pastries, oatmeal, biscuits (scones and gravy), cheese omelettes, eggs and ham. Phew, try and eat that lot!

Dinner will mean a bit of a drive down N 19th Ave, or if you’re feeling lazy head next door to the Outback Steakhouse which is surprisingly good on quality and value.

The kitchenettes are too small to do any serious cooking for yourself and there is a distinct lack of cutlery/crockery.

Shopping A massive array of shopping malls, with all the big supermarkets (a Smiths is only 2km away), ATMs, liquor stores and everything in between are just around the corner down N19th Ave. Chalet Sports in the main drag in downtown Bozeman is the place to go for ski/board and outdoor gear at the right price.

Why Stay at the C’mon Inn? It’s the full package. The hot tubs and pool sooth your after-skiing aches and pains, the waterfalls, fish ponds and faux plants and rocks relax your mind, the comfortable beds and rooms refresh you, and the big breakfast fortifies you for the next big day on the slopes. All the dead animals are a bit creepy, but as they say, when in Rome .............
