Affordable Ease & Comfort

Chalet Diana Ross is the place to stay for an affordable, worry-free & comfortable visit to Bansko. Seamless pick-up & drop-off at the Sofia airport are a great way to start and finish a trip here. And if don't read our info on Bansko, the Snomads crew can give you all the insider tips on how to navigate your way through a Bansko ski experience. Little things like organising taxis for early morning drop-offs at the mid mountain lifts, or reserving your group a table at the best Mexana (or mehana) taverns in the old town are worth so much in a place like Bulgaria.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast always had a local specialty which was nice touch. The rest of the guests in the lodge were great fun. A couple of dinners were included with the bbd night being a feature. For the other nights there are a multitude of magnificent eateries throughout the old town to sample.

There are some quirky house rules that don't quite add up in a ski lodge (like putting you ski boots on outside when there is a perfectly good couch just in the door!), but for the price, the company, the food and convenience, those quirks can be accommodated (or ignored as the case may be). The lodge is just on the edge of walking distance to the ski lifts, but there is daily transport tot he lift base included in the tariff for anyone not up to it. If walking, on the way back get a banitsa from a street vendor.
