Alpine Coaster

I thought the Alpine Coaster ride at the Park City Mountain Resort would be a bit lame as it was just a kids’ ride, but it was surprisingly fun. I laughed nervously the whole way down, and as soon as the ride was finished I just wanted to do it again. It is definitely a great activity not only for the kids but also for the young at heart.

The rollercoaster has toboggan-style cars where the speed is self-controlled via a brake lever. The course goes around twists and turns, and you can go as fast or slow as you like. You can ride in tandem or go solo.

The Alpine Coaster is located just above the base of the Park City ski resort and is open noon to 4pm, so you can have a go in between ski runs. It’s a real scream!
