Corvatsch Furtschellas Skiing & Snowboarding

The region's most diverse ski & snowboard experience, Corvatsch-Furtschellas is a north-aspect behemoth dominated by the 3,451m speak of Piz Corvatsch. The ski resort includes 122km of mainly intermediate piste and a glacier within its terrain, split between the two highest lifted points at the 'bergstations' on Corvatsch (3,303m) and Furtschellas (2,786m). Whilst the terrain is complex enough that it is not possible to ski the 1,500m of vertical on piste uninterrupted, the resort is replete with descents of 1,000m vertical - long enough to feel your legs burn and your nose to freeze. Three valley trails head down to the base areas at Sils, Surlej and St Moritz Bad. The 4km long Hahnensee run into St Moritz Bad gets the chocolates for the best way to end the day at Corvatsch.

See the Corvatsch Furtschellas ski trail map.

The polar opposite of the St Moritz home hill - Corviglia (literally - it is shaded & ssooo much colder!), Corvatsch has excellent snow quality & greater terrain diversity than nearby Corviglia. Once the skiing & snow-boarding are done, the mountain also has the region's best on-mountain eateries to finish the perfect day ...... and warm your hands!

More info coming soon - eventually maybe ....
