Ski Adventure Xinjiang China
Over 10 days you will explore some of the highlights of skiing in Xinjiang in the northwest of China. Xinjiang is miles away from the skiing near Beijing, in the literal sense as well as snow-wise and culturally. The region of
Xinjiang is intriguing, with its rich history and melting pot of diverse cultures. Enjoy the contrast of a crazy neon light filled metropolis with the quiet remote villages of Northern Xinjiang. And enjoy the heady mix of an ancient history of skiing in an area thought to be the birthplace of skiing, with modern ski resorts that seem to be expanding at a mega rate.
Highlights

- Visit the bustling city of Ürümqi (population 4 million) with its neon lights and busy streets, and Hongshan Mountain and People’s Park

- 2 days at the large and very snowy Jikepulin Ski Resort near Hemu, 1 day at Silk Road Ski Resort, night skiing in Altay City
