Broken River Activities & Tours

Wagner Custome Skis
Broken River is a club field and not a ski resort. It’s the complete antithesis of the classic glitzy ski resort you’d find in the US, so it comes as no great surprise that there are not many non-skiing activities at Broken River. You can go for a hike or read a book, but there’s certainly no dog-sledding, sleigh rides or day spas. Broken River is all about the skiing and snowboarding.

Ski Tours and Activities

Black Diamond Safaris are the club field specialists and they provide ski and snowboard transport and tours to Broken River as well as Mt Olympus and Craigieburn. They offer a range of tours from single day transport through to fully guided multi-day adventures and backcountry touring. See the club fields with the experts.

Adventure Activities

Cave Stream Scenic Reserve is about 5 minutes drive east of Flock Hill Lodge. The open country surrounded by the limestone rocks makes for a perfect picnic spot or a great place for some gentle walking. Tours into the cave are self-guided and take about one hour. The water in the cave is normally waist level, but you’ll need to keep an eye on it. If planning on going into the cave, take a torch, warm clothing and sturdy footwear.

There are also ice-climbing opportunities in the area for experienced climbers.

Take a good book and perch on a couch in Lyndon Lodge at Broken River whilst taking in the gorgeous views across the valley.
