Where is Kijimadaira Ski Resort?
One of the Mt Kosha ski resorts, Kita Shinshu Kijimadaira Ski Resort is located in the Nagano Prefecture, 43km northeast of
Nagano City. The resort sits above Kijimadaira Village, which is 9km southeast of the town of Iiyama.
Kijimadaira Ski Resort is 14.5km north of the town of
Yudanaka and the adjacent village of
Shibu Onsen (near the
snow monkeys).
Train to Kijimadaira
Kijimadaira Ski Resort is about 10km from the Iiyama Shinkansen station. To get to Kijimadaira, you can get a taxi from the JR IIyama train station or there are occasional buses.

Driving to Kijimadaira
For day trippers, the easiest way to get there is via car. The Kijimadaira phone number for GPS navigation is 0269 82 3434, but be aware that your GPS may try to take you over the top of the mountain on a summer-only road.
There is a car park at the base as well as the Chuo (centre) car park further up a steep windy road.
