The convenience factor of this accommodation is a major plus, combined with a lovely restaurant and bar where you’ll find yummy food and friendly service.

The apartments are cute but they are stuck way back in the 60s. The apartments are incredibly cozy. Part of the reason the apartments are so cozy is due to turbo charged heaters. The only problem is that the heaters are fuelled by kerosene and are really smelly. You’ll want to have the windows wide open just to let the fumes escape, which sort of defeats the purpose of a heater.

The heating for the shower was also disappointing and incredibly dodgy. The temperature of the water alternated between freezing and scalding, and even after multiple attempts it was not possible to have a decent shower. Thank goodness for deodorant!

Complimentary Wifi internet access is available but it’s slightly temperamental and won’t necessarily work in the apartments.

Considering the limitations of the apartments, the rates are not particularly economical, but at least they are cheaper than accommodation prices at Valle Nevado and La Parva. The rates include half board with breakfast and dinner in the lovely Cadaques Restaurant, where you’ll get some value for your money.

The building has a small ski boutique and a ski and board rental shop where they sell a few ski accessories. Don’t expect a cordial welcome in the rental shop if you don’t speak fluent Spanish. The staff at the hotel reception speak a little English, but don’t necessarily expect a great amiable service there either. Thankfully the service provided by the staff in the restaurant and bar is fabulous.

Any limitations can be excused considering the fabulous location of the accommodation!!
