The location of the Mountain Hotel was perfect – right on the slopes and really close to the Resort Center.

Our twin room was spacious and functional, and very pleasant. The room overlooked the ski slopes and it was rather mesmerizing to look out the windows, particularly in the evenings. Considering the appeal of the location it was a shame that the windows weren’t a little larger.

The beds were very comfortable, although they had Japanese sized pillows but this is all part of indulging in the Japanese culture!

The restaurant was superb with regards to the outlook, the atmosphere, the quality of the food (and the quantity!), and the service.

We would highly recommend a stay at the Mountain Hotel.
