Whitefish Ski and Snowboard Shops
At Whitefish Mountain Resort, the Village (Morning Eagle Lodge) has two equipment shops plus there are two small clothing/gift shops at the Summit House and Base Lodge. Snow Ghost Outfitters has all your alpine ski needs covered, whilst Stumptown Snowboards has a reasonable range of board gear for the knuckle draggers. The Base Lodge also has a range of gear for sale at Base Lodge Traders.
An excellent outdoors shop for the backcountry enthusiast is The White Room Mountain Shop. It stocks all the big brands and top quality gear and is located on Lupfer Ave in downtown Whitefish.
Sportsman & Ski Haus in the shopping complex south of downtown Whitefish has a wide range of skis, clothing and other snow related accoutrements. Prices are good.
General Shopping
Central Avenue in downtown Whitefish is the one stop place for all things shopping. Boutiques, art, pottery, clothing, t-shirts and jewellery are all there.
Grocery Shopping
A very small grocery store is located on the mountain in the Kintla Lodge at the lodging check in area. If you require some serious nosh, head into the town of Whitefish where you’ll find a Safeway and other larger supermarkets.
