Park City Hotels & LodgingLocation, location, location is important when it comes to accommodation in Park City, not just for the prestige but also for the convenience. As to be expected, great location will come at a premium but it may be better than spending half your holiday standing at a bus stop in the freezing cold. Double check the location of your shortlisted accommodations on a
town map, because there are some hotels that have names that are misleading and give the impression of being in central Park City.
Budget accommodation in central Park City is incredibly rare, and prices for most lodgings will further escalate at Xmas and during the Sundance Film Festival.
Accommodation opportunities can be loosely grouped into the following areas: near Park City Mountain Resort; downtown Park City and the Main St district; “the suburbs” of Park City such as Prospector Square, Park Meadows, or Heber City;
The Canyons lodging; and
Deer Valley lodging.
Park City Mountain Resort Accommodations
At the Park City Mountain Resort base there are various hotels and condos, many of which are ski-in ski-out or close to it. The
Marriott Mountainside is incredibly conveniently located, as is the luxurious
Lodge at the Mountain Village. The Loft at the Mountain Village is also a stone’s throw away from the lifts, and has condos of various configurations. The Gables (one bedroom suites) in within the base area but is not quite ski-in ski-out.

The only budget lodging in Park City near the slopes is at
Chateau Apres Lodge which is only a street or two down the hill from the base area and a few minutes by bus into main street. The Powderhounds have stayed there and can recommend this as a basic lodge with a relaxed atmosphere.

Slightly down the road from the resort is the Thaynes Canyon area off Three Kings Road. Examples of accom include the
Hotel Park City, Three Kings Condos, and Payday Condominiums. Some of the lodgings around here have good access to the ski resort via the Silver Star lift.
Downtown Park City Hotels & Condos Accommodation near Main Street
The old town is where all the major action happens in relation to bars, dining and shopping. Access to the resort is via the Town lift. There are a plethora of options for hotels, condos and B&Bs, but here are just a couple of examples.
The Washington School Inn is a small boutique hotel that provides classy accommodation in rooms named after former school teachers.
The Sky Lodge is another boutique hotel which has rooms and apartments that mimic New York City lofts. The hot tubs on the deck overlooking Main St are great for relaxation, but also for people watching.

Outer Park City Hotels
Reasonably priced chain hotels can be found in the outer suburbs of Park City. The
Best Western Landmark Inn is adjacent to the Tanger Factory Stores near Kimball Junction, and the rates are refreshing in comparison to downtown prices.
