Activities & Tours
There is no shortage of non-skiing activities at
Big White for children, and the young at heart. The activities desk will help you with a range of pursuits including a trip to Kelowna to see an ice hockey match.
Activities at Happy Valley include mini snowmobiles for the kids, ice-skating, a video arcade, and the tube park that has multiple lanes of varying pitches. The Mega Snow Coaster used to be the largest tubing park in North America, so it’s Mega!
Happy Valley is also the start of the 25km Nordic trails, and you can also snow-shoe and dogsled on these trails. The dogsled tours vary from a couple of hours to all day.
Snowmobile tours for the big kids are 2 hours, 4 hours or all day, and can be organised at various locations including the Happy Valley Day Lodge or the Village Centre Mall.
In addition to all these options, Big White organises special family events, carnivals and fireworks.
For a bit of R&R, there are a few spas (not the hot-tub kind) including Day Escape Body Care, European Day Spa and Beyond Wrapture.
