Big White in Canada is the fabulous convenience of ski-in ski-out accommodation for all budgets. Huge variety is provided, including full service hotels, townhouses, condos (apartments), chalets, cabins, economy units and a hostel.
You will have to decide the ultimate location to suit your needs. Some of the Big White accommodations sit on beginners runs which can be quite convenient for families with older children. Staying in the heart of the village is handy for most. Others may wish to stay down in the Happy Valley area where many of the family activities are conducted, and where the magic carpet beginner area is located. Another advantage of this area is that many of the properties are close to brand new, unlike some in the central village that are becoming a little dated. Disadvantages of this area are that some lodgings in the lower village are ski-in, but not ski-out, and that on a powder day you’ll miss the first 15 minutes of fresh tracks.
