Park Hyatt Beaver Creek

The Park Hyatt Resort and Spa at Beaver Creek Colorado provides extraordinary accommodation for those looking for a little grandeur and great service. And this Beaver Creek hotel is arguably located in the perfect spot at Beaver Creek!

Where is the Park Hyatt Located?

The Park Hyatt is located at the base of the Beaver Creek ski resort. The Buckaraoo Express Gondola is right out the front of the hotel, only steps away from the ski valet, so it’s incredibly convenient, and the Centennial Express Lift is a one minute skate away. The ice rink, the centrepiece of the Beaver Creek village, is just outside the back door of the hotel, so the Beaver Creek restaurants and shops are also very close to the hotel.

The Hyatt Beaver Creek is very popular with families, and from just a location perspective alone, it’s easy to see why. The Haymeadow Gondola services the best beginners’ area and the tubing hill, various magic carpets are located right out the front of the hotel, and the kids’ ski school building is next door. It couldn’t get any easier!!

Park Hyatt Hotel Rooms & Suites

The hotel rooms have delightful contemporary décor, are spacious, and the bathrooms have beautiful marble topped double vanities. The rooms have amazing beds with a plush pillow top mattress, soft linens and a down duvet. Rooms have either a double-double (two queen beds) or king bed configuration, and a choice of views across the courtyard, the aspen groves on the north side of the valley, or across the ski slopes where you can watch the kids having their ski lesson. Many of the hotel rooms have the ability to connect to another room.

The Park Hyatt at Beaver Creek has some magnificent suites with fireplaces and seating areas with a sofa bed, and some suites have a kitchenette and a large dining table. Some of the suites also have the capability of inter-connection with other hotel rooms.

Some of the amenities of the hotel rooms include:
  • Work desk and chair
  • LCD TV and video on demand
  • Mini fridge
  • Internet access

A café offers more informal dining with an array of sandwiches, snacks and beverages.

THE Place to Stay at Beaver Creek

17/02/2012
We were very impressed with the Park Hyatt hotel and the location was just perfect!

We stayed in a slope-side double room and it was just gorgeous! The dark tones of the décor were beautiful and the bed was superbly comfortable. The view out onto the slopes and across the swimming pool and hot tubs was stunning, particularly when the snow was dumping down. Even better was sitting in one of the hot tubs watching the snow fall!

The range of facilities was as good as it gets and the service was very good. The only exception was the restaurant. It was OK but not in keeping with the excellence of the rest of the hotel.

Some of the “extras” are rather expensive compared to other Colorado ski resort hotels (e.g. parking, day spa treatments), but this is Beaver Creek where you expect to pay a little more.

We were somewhat surprised at the number of children staying at the Park Hyatt, because families more typically stay in condos. This speaks volumes for the family friendliness of this hotel and the location couldn’t be more convenient for guests with wee ones.
