Accommodation

Kiroro ski resort has two accommodation options. The Mountain Hotel is located at the base of the ski resort, providing convenient ski-in ski-out access, whilst the upscale Piano Hotel is situated further down the hill via a 3 minute shuttle bus trip. Kiroro doesn’t have any self-contained accommodation or pensions.

Hotel Piano Hotel Piano was potentially named considering that Yamaha, the former owners of Kiroro, are in the business of pianos. In keeping with the name, the glamorous hotel lobby features a clever grand piano that plays all by itself!

The reasonably lavish Hotel Piano has 282 hotel rooms across 13 floors. There are five categories of guest rooms including standard, superior, deluxe, luxury (Japanese/Western combination) and the Piano Suite, one of the most opulent hotel rooms in Hokkaido. All rooms are well appointed, spacious and have ensuites, and the upscale Hollywood rooms have mountain views from the bathtub!

The hotel has a range of restaurants including a delightful Italian restaurant, a sushi restaurant, and a casual buffet eatery. Hotel Piano also has loads of facilities including a day spa, swimming pool, onsen, entertainment complex and a few shops.

For such a swish hotel the rates are incredibly reasonable.

Mountain Hotel Whilst not as glamorous, the Mountain Hotel also provides a high standard of accommodation, and the ski-in ski-out convenience is fantastic. The Mountain Hotel has 5 floors with 140 rooms that provide a spread of Western and Japanese style accommodation. The hotel has an upscale buffet restaurant and easy access to the facilities of the Resort Centre. See our Mountain Hotel overview for more information.

Other Accommodation Kiroro is an easy day trip from Sapporo or Niseko, so the other option is to stay in either Sapporo accommodation or Niseko accommodation.
