Accommodation
There is a choice of villages to stay in to ski the resort of St Anton. There are a variety of hotels, inn, guest houses and pensions available in the villages of St Anton, St Jakob, St Christoph and Stuben.
St Anton Hotels Party animals and those who want easy access to a range of restaurants and shops should stay in St Anton. Some accommodation is ski-in ski-out whilst other lodgings in the village are just an easy walk to the lifts. There are lockers at the base of the gondola for skis, boards and boots if you don’t want to weave down the road in the evening with your skis in tow.
We stayed in Pension Gamberg in the main street of St Anton, just a short walk from the pedestrian-only section. Gamberg is simple accommodation, but it is more than adequate and has a warm and cosy atmosphere. The cooked breakfasts are amazing and the hostess of the house is very welcoming.

Other St Anton Accommodation The neighbouring village of St Jakob is just down the valley from St Anton. It features quite a few guest houses and restaurants, and has access to the ski area via the new Nassereinbahn gondola.
St Christoph is a pretty little village that is more exclusive than St Anton, and certainly much more sedate. It’s suited to those who want a romantic get-away or just want to get away from the crowds. Accommodation in the small resort allows easy access to the lifts (which are linked to the rest of the St Anton resort) and the slopes run right into the heart of the village.
Stuben is the smallest of the villages and has hotels and private lodgings. Similarly to St Christoph, Stuben is very quaint and much more low-key than its St Anton neighbour. There are local lifts with some fabulous skiing, and the area is also linked to the St Anton resort.
