Stellar Heliskiing Day Tours

This day heli skiing package suggests you will get 6 - 7 runs (approximately 3,650 to 5,500 metres of vertical) in the day. For a little bit extra there is also an unlimited package where as longs as daylight, the conditions and your legs prevail you can go for as longs as you want. This usually results in 10-12 runs or more depending on how quickly your groups skis!

The day includes a picnic lunch on the mountain, guiding by highly experienced, qualified guides and each guest is supplied with an avalanche airbag pack, containing a shovel, probe, and radio that must be worn by guests on each run.

Before the day begins on the mountain guests must take part in a safety briefing which is conducted at the helicopter takeoff area. The briefing will cover helicopter safety; give an overview of a typical day and what to expect; and give an overview of avalanche rescue and how to use your beacon.
