Itinerary
A key to the delight in this tour is staying up in the mountains for 5 nights, rather than descending to the valley in the evening. As the other skiers drop back into their valleys and return to their hotels, you can pull up a chair, order a drink & allow the mountain tranquility to wash over you. While your VIP Saslong Classic Day is the centre of this experience, you also get to ski other world-class ski runs including the Gardenissima (the world's longest giant slalom slope), Cir, the Gran Risa, and of course, the Saslong Classic itself. Aside from Race Day the other 3 ski days have a flexible itinerary, but various options are shown below.
DAY 1, Thursday Dec 14: Arrival & Welcome
Transfer from Innsbruck (or other preferred arrival point) via Ortisei for ski equipment fitting (if required). Onward to Plan de Gralba village where a snowmobile awaits to transport you & your luggage up to Albergo Piz Seteur. Enjoy an aperitif and get to know your ski leader/host. Piz Seteur is beautifully situated above the valley between two hulking Dolomites massifs. Enjoy a sumptuous 4-course dinner and sleep well.

DAY 2, Friday Dec 15: Secrets of the Sella Ronda
The world-famous ski circuit can be skied clockwise or counterclockwise but what many don't realise is that with a fit ski group, there are ways to extend the route to make it even more enjoyable! Be shown the secrets of the Sella Ronda! The Sella Ronda, also known as the 4 Passes Tour (Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella, and Gardena Passes), is a unique ski experience totaling 40 km (lifts and slopes) surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The extended version is even better!

DAY 3, Saturday Dec 16: Race Day
Ski the Saslong Classic World Cup Downhill course in its full race regalia (pre & post-race), then in between, experience one of the world's greatest ski events from the best possible vantage point as a VIP at the 'Saslong Camel Humps Lounge'. Cow bells will be provided!

DAY 4, Sunday Dec 17: Gran Risa, Alta Badia
Ingemar Stenmark, Ted Ligety, Mark Girardelli, Bode Miller & Marcel Hirscher have all carved their names on the podium of the Gran Risa slope, one of the most technically and demanding slopes in the alpine ski circus. With a drop of 448 m, 1,255 m long, with a maximum gradient of 69%, the Gran Risa challenges the world's best skiers every year. Now it is your turn! Whilst there, take on the La Risa, the adjacent red run, and the wonderful carving slope.

DAY 5: Val Gardena Day
Val Gardena is a massive ski resort and has many fabulous nooks & crannies. Explore the far corners of the ski area and its long ski history from Seceda to Monte Pana, Alpe di Siusi & Passo Sella. Featured slopes: Gardenissima, Saslong Classic, CIR, La Longia, Pilat

DAY 6, Tuesday Dec 19: Departure
Wake to the beautiful views of Sassolungo & the Sella massif, enjoy breakfast, take in the cold mountain air, and then await your snowmobile transfer to Plan de Gralba (or you can ski down if you wish!). You’re headed home or hopefully somewhere else to ski, but will it meet expectations now after these remarkable 5 nights in the Dolomites? Your transfer to Innsbruck is less than 2½hr.
