Inn at Solitude

Inn at Solitude

Inn at Solitude The Bavarian-style Inn at Solitude provides hotel-style accommodations in the heart of Solitude village, only stumbling distance from the Thirsty Squirrel and the slopes. This Solitude hotel has the amenities you’d expect of a quality hotel, but it is quiet and cozy and has the relaxed feel of an inn.

Where is the Inn at Solitude? The Inn at Solitude has fantastic ski in/out convenience to the Solitude Ski Resort. From the exit door of the ski lockers, it is a 30 second walk or skate across the village bridge to the chair lifts, and on the way home you should have enough speed to make it right to the door. Fantastic!

Hotel Rooms The huge hotel rooms are stylishly decorated and have large beds that are incredibly comfortable. It’s lucky that the avalanche blasting wakes you in the morning, otherwise you’d want to spend all day in bed! However if you had the blinds open in a slopeside room, you be able to see all the skiing action out the window. The lure of the powder should be enough to get you out of the comfie bed.

In addition to the deluxe rooms with either a village or mountain view, there are also suites and rooms with kitchenettes. All rooms have a fridge and wireless access.

Facilities Facilities at the Inn at Solitude are beautiful. Even the ski lockers are glamorous.

The on site heated pool and outdoor hot tub are absolutely fantastic. From the hot tub you can look up at the mountain, and you can’t help but feel relaxed. The inn also has a tastefully decorated lounge and library area where you can curl up in one of the lounge chairs in front of the fire with a good book. If you’re not already feeling adequately relaxed, you can get a pampering treatment at the day spa.

Guests also have access to Club Solitude where there is an exercise centre, games room and another pool.

Dining The restaurant, St Bernard’s, offers fine dining not just for dinner but also for breakfast. Breakfast fare includes incredibly gourmet menu items. Dinner includes beautiful country French cuisine and an extensive wine list. During the day, the restaurant affords great views of the mountain, and during the evening the gorgeous fire becomes the centre piece of the tasteful décor.

Why Stay There? You can’t help but feel completely relaxed at the Inn at Solitude. The atmosphere is very tranquil, and with super comfortable rooms and fantastic ski in ski out convenience, you can’t go wrong.

If you are heading to Solitude, you can't go wrong staying at The Inn at Solitude.

It is located right at the base of the lifts so you don't have to go far to access the amazing Solitude powder. The village is quite small so accessing restaurants and bars is never more than a couple of minutes walk.

The hot tub and pool are a fantastic feature with views looking back up the slopes.

The rooms are nicely decked out and many of them have views of the ski area with balconies.

We highly recommend The Inn @ Solitude.
