Patagonia Heli Skiing Overview
In 2007, Beb began riding the Patagonian volcanoes from the amazing
47.5 meter luxury yacht "Atmosphere". You can too! Navigate the Patagonian fjords,
ride each day on a new volcano, contemplate majestic glaciers, enjoy the perfect warmth of natural hot springs...you can also indulge in extra activities like
jet boating, bird watching, horse riding, eco-tourism trekking and kayaking.
You can expect "
grand class service" on board the Atmosphere; tasting the
best Chilean wines in the
open bar and enjoying the delicious menus prepared by one of the most famous chefs in Chile.
Finish your day
relaxing in a sauna, tackling a massage, and a talassotherapy session.
You can book this package as
a
solo traveler (where Andes Heliboarding will try and match you up with other solo skiers & boarders of a similar level) OR in a
private group of 4, 8, 12 or 16.
Whilst the maximum number of heli skiers for any given trip is 16, the boat can cater for up to 28 guests. So you can bring a
non-skiing friend or partner who can soak up all of the amazing non-skiing activities this tour has to offer.
The tour will only operate if there are 16 heli-skiing guests booked in total OR you can charter the entire vessel for you and your own private group with a maximum of 16 heli-skiers and 28 guests in total.
The package is based on
7 nights on-board the yacht and you can choose to do either 3 or 6 days of heli-skiing. The package includes
15 hours of flying time and additional hours can be purchased as you go; if required.
All packages run from
Saturday to Saturday throughout the month of November.
Terrain & AbilityBecause this is a fully private tour, the terrain you can access will depend on the lowest ability of your group. There is terrain available from
strong intermediate and above for both skiers & boarders.
The
stable snow-pack allows expert skiers to ride on
steep terrain overlooking the seas with panoramic views of glaciers and fjords.
