Guided Day Ski Tours Ex Santiago

That untracked powder looks great! But where does that chute lead to? What are today’s avalanche risks? Unless you know where you are going, what you are doing and have the right equipment, it’s better to just head back to the lift line.

Experience the thrill of leaving the first trails over untracked powder on some of Chile’s best slackcountry bowls at La Parva and Valle Nevado. For those who may not be familiar with the term, “slackcountry” refers to backcountry skiing from the top of a lift-serviced resort. SA experienced local guides provide relevant safety gear and strategically pick the best chutes, leading you where the skiing and boarding is unparalleled anywhere else. While out-of-bounds skiing and snowboarding always have inherent risks, their professional, well-experienced guides can significantly decrease the dangers.

Suggested Daily Schedule (but can flexible to suit your needs):

  • 8:00 am depart from hotel
  • 8:30 am stop at local ski shop to pick up rental equipment if required (not in cost of package)
  • 10:00 am arrival at ski area
  • 10:30 am mountain orientation and departure for ski slopes
  • 1:00 pm lunch (not included)
  • 5:00 pm departure for Santiago

Upscape Travel Booking Conditions

  • A deposit of 50% is required to reserve
  • The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. Failure to make your final payment on time is considered a cancellation on the part of the passenger
  • 100% payment is required to confirm reservation for any trip booked with less than 60 days’ anticipation
  • We accept checks, bank wires and credit cards (service fee of 3.5% is applied for sales over US$2.000 thorough PayPal).
