Ability Level

This package is not for beginners as it moves to several locations so it would not be logistically feasible for lessons. You should be at least a strong intermediate skier or border who is comfortable and in control riding on steep groomed runs.

Terrain Focus

This is not a backcountry tour; you will be skiing and riding within the resort boundaries on and off piste and your guide/host will show you all of the best places to ski & board at each resort.

Group Size

The maximum number of guests per guide is 8 so get in quickly as spots will not last long.

Sample Itinerary

The locations in which you will stay are fixed however some of the resort locations may change slightly from day-to-day to get the best possible conditions on the day.

The tours starts on Saturday from Santiago Airport and ends the following Saturday at Santiago Airport.

Day 1: Arrival Day

Welcome to Chile! Your driver/host/guide will meet you at Santiago airport & then transfer you to Powder Lodge in Farellones where you will stay for the next 3 nights.

If time permits, you will have the opportunity head out for a half-day of skiing / boarding at El Colorado or take the afternoon to relax.

Powder Lodge is a fabulous place to stay! The hosts are awesome and they have a great outdoor wood fired hot tub where you can chill-out and watch the spectacular Santiago sunset with a beer or wine in hand.

Apres and dinner are provided this evening at Powder Lodge.

For those that are up for a bit of nightlife, the local bars in Farellones are only a few minutes walk and can get pretty lively!

Meals Included: Dinner

Day 2: Ski Valle Nevado

After a hearty breakfast at Powder Lodge your guide will drive you to Valle Nevado Ski Resort (about half an hour by road) where you will spend the day.

Valle Nevado has the largest skiable area in Chile so there is a lot to try and cover in a day but your guide will do their best to show you as much as possible.

There are a variety of lunch spots on the mountain.

Once the group is done for the day, you might head to one of the apres bars at Valle Nevado for a couple of bevvies or the group my elect to get back to Powder Lodge for that calling hot tub and fabulous apres snacks provided by Powder Lodge.

Then it another gourmet meal at Powder Lodge before heading out or to chill in one of the cozy lounge areas or in the solitude of your room.

Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 3: Ski La Parva

La Parva is popular ski destination in Chile. Despite its proximity to Chile's capital, its beauty, amenities and trails attract many skiers of all different levels and from all over the world. La Parva is known for its high-quality, natural snow conditions.

After a day on the slopes it's back to Powder Lodge for hot tub and apres followed by another fabulous dinner.

After breakfast at Powder Lodge, it's in the van and off to Inca Hotel in Los Andes (approx 2 hours drive) where you will be based for the next 3 nights.

Along the way your guide may stop at one of the many wineries for lunch & tastings depending on the group's desires.

Inca Hotel is a lovely 3-star hotel with an on-site restaurant & bar plus a communal lounge area where you can relax and catch up with your fellow guests.

Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 5: Ski Portillo

It's out of bed for an early breakfast and on the road to the famous Portillo ski resort for the day.

Portillo, South America's oldest and most famous ski resort has the ambiance of a "boutique" ski resort, with limited hotel capacity, no lift lines and open slopes. There are slopes to fit any level of skiing expertise, and for the more advanced skiers and boarders there is an abundance of back country bowls.

This is a place where your will get the most out of it by having a guide as the mountain needs to be worked to get the most favorable conditions based on the time of day and the snow conditions.

Tio Bob's is a fabulous place to go for lunch at Portillo, perched high in the Andes with spectacular views.

After skiing you will head back to Los Andes......maybe out to an authentic Chilean restaurant in Los Andes or San Esteban in the evening.

Make sure you get a good night's sleep tonight as tomorrow it is off to El Arpa to ski 3,000 foot (1,000 metre vertical runs) accessed by snowcat.

Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 6: Ski Arpa (Cat Skiing)

Experience a full day of Snowcat Skiing at the incredible Ski Arpa. A place unlike any other in the world, Valle el Arpa is sweet music to the skier's soul. Unparalleled vertical snow conditions and views of both Mt. Aconcagua and the Pacific Ocean are sure to make for an unforgettable adventure. In an anything-but-typical day, you'll ski over 13,000 vertical feet of some of the best untracked powder in the world.

At the end of the day (depending on the time) you may have the option to drink a couple of bevvies at the Arpa base camp before climbing aboard the van to head back to Los Andes for a meal in/near town or back at the hotel.

Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch

Day 7: Arpa Cat Ski & transfer back to Santiago

It's ground hog day with another spectacular day of snowcat skiing.

Your legs should be like pistons-of-steel by now so ripping those 3,000 foot decent should be easy!!

After the day of skiing and a few bevvies at base camp it's in the van and off to Santiago for your last night.

Your last night will be spent at the boutique Luciano K hotel.

Put on your party shoes as it's Saturday night in Santiago. Your guide will be able to provide some advice on the best restaurants and bars to check out for your last hora.

Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch

Unfortunately it's time to say goodbye :(  After breakfast you will be transferred from the hotel to the Santiago airport in time for your flight back home or on-wards.
