Ski Aspen

Ski Aspen's philosophy revolves around guest service, guest experience and affordability. And despite its 20 years experience in this iconic ski town, they are continually refining the form and function of their tours and the service they provide to you. They accomplish this by ensuring they go above and beyond your expectations. Your wants and needs are their highest priority and this is reflected in every facet their tours.

Ski Aspen is a service company not a tour operator. They provide an all-inclusive 16 day program. During this time they operate a 10-day fully guided and instructional on-snow program. Their staff are on hand 24 hours a day and have a guide to skier ratio of 1:6. While personalised group skiing is their core product, their tours are renowned for much more. A holiday with Ski Aspen combines many elements – incomparable snow conditions with a huge range of activities both on and off snow.

The town provides great cuisine, culture, environment and sport. They add the finishing touches to improve your skiing, foster camaraderie and create lasting memories. Spend your après time at one of the many bars or relax and rejuvenate in a therapeutic spa, maybe even The Aspen Club. Add to this our perfectly located accommodation, regular après activities and the best skiing conditions on the planet.

Founded in 1995, Ski Aspen now enjoys a guest return rate of around 60% each year.

We have been lucky enough to tour with Trek Climb Ski (Aspen) on numerous occasions. Nick and his team have mastered the job of welcoming all sorts of people/groups into their marvelously managed, perfectly challenging and very much fun fold!

Initially I enjoyed the tour as a "single", then I returned with my husband as a "couple" and since we have invited the 3 kids as a "family"!

It is such a special place to ski/board and in Nicks teams capable hands there couldn't be a better holiday!

TCS offers a remarkable package for skiers and boarders who want to get the most out of a North American ski experience. By choosing Aspen-Snowmass, TCS is offering outstanding ski terrain diversity with one of the best serviced ski towns in the world. From hiking the Bowl at Highlands to guided tuition on the bumps and groomers, TCS offers it all. A real feature of their tours is the very high standard of guides. They know the mountains like they were born there and are all very good at passing on skill improvements - and some of them are exceptional. The TCS tours also have a strong attention to detail - meaning that things almost always go according to plan. Overall, TCS offers exceptional value. I took my first two US trips with TCS almost a decade ago and several seasons later I'm still learning from them.

I've skied with Nick Farr and his super team for the past five years and each tour has been better than the last. The guides are 'the tops' and the groups are flexible, small, friendly and most importantly, we all improve our skiing ability while having the hugest amount of fun.

I've had the pleasure of doing two tours of Aspen with TCS and am heading over for tour number three in January 2011. I introduced my daughter to the tour in January 2009 and she is coming with me again 2011.

The guiding is totally professional, we are stretched to the limits of our abilities but always feel safe (well a few runs with Simon tested that theory, but what a blast it was anyway!). It's definitely taken my skiing to new heights.

And off the mountain, great town, great company and great fun.

I have travelled to Aspen 3 times with Trek Climb Ski and have had a ball every trip. I would recommend it to all snow lovers who want to ski with like minded people and have have some brilliant fun too. Don't worry about coming on your own - you'll soon be part of the TCS family.

All the team are very knowledgeable and work hard at making sure you get what you want out of your holiday, as well as improving your skiing!

Come see for yourself!

I keep going back. I love the mountains ,tour organisers, guides and my fellow guests. It is like a family reunion having skied 8 times with some of them.

Skiing with people of similar ability or better and with quality guides who have really improved my skiing over the years, plus their knowledge of the local terrain (mine is pretty good by now) is the way to do it.

Group apres activities and the company of the guests is the cream on top of the skiing, and if you want to do your own thing it's no problem.

In 2011 will be my 6th trip with Trek, Climb and Ski as I am very satisfied with the tour. As much instructions as one wishes (I feel there is always room for improvement) but there is lots and lots of skiing miles. We ski approximately 5 to 6 hours a day on varied terrain with a group of skiers of similar ability. I like the aspect that one can move from various levels and ski as much as one is capable of. Some only ski till the lunch break, whilst others start after lunch due to the activities of the previous night!!!! The guides are all very helpful and many have been to Aspen/Snowmass many times.

I would recommend this tour for anyone who is a keen skier (as I am). It really improves your skiing and takes you out of your comfort zone.

I have enjoyed 12 years of Aspen tours with Nick Farr and have always had a wonderful time with great guides and excellent accommodation. I think they have to be the best value ski trips on the planet.

The advice on skiing techniques which the guides provide has been a great help in improving my ski style. The social side has been very enjoyable and I have made many friends from among the groups over the years.

Aspen is a wonderful place to ski with great variety of slopes and conditions from immaculate groomed slopes to deep powder and moguls. It is also a lovely town full of good restaurants and interesting shops, and of course the occasional sight of a celebrity.

Great tour, great fun, and all with a great group of people (the guides and the guests).

The guides really know these mountains, and will take you to those runs that only the true locals could ever find. If you are anything like me and occasionally feel hesitant at the top of a run, these guys are really good at building up your confidence level. My skiing has improved in leaps and bounds since doing my first tour 5 years back.

Highly recommended!

I did a tour with Nick and his crew in Jan 2009. The accommodation and transfers were great. The guides took us all over the four mountains and could not have been more helpful. They organised lots of apres ski stuff as well. I could not have been more pleased with the outcomes.

We keep going back to TCS's Aspen Tour because it's the best on offer! Next year will be our 10th year The whole deal is 5 "paws" from go to whoa. They meet us at Aspen airport, take us to the fantastic accommodation, show us and give us local knowledge of Aspen Town and make us feel welcome and 'at home' straight away.

Apart from the social get-togethers we are guided over the four mountains (including areas we'd never find on our own) by our Australian guides with approximately six people in each group. The Specialty days are amazing - powder, bumps, steeps, carving and other clinics improve our skills and push us just that little bit harder.

Our ultimate in skiing is joining TCS in the almighty Rocky Mountains with like minded people and perfect conditions (they always seem so to us) and the wonderful group of guides. We recommend it it as the ultimate tour.

I love the Aspen tour - I have done three tours now. Initially I booked on one of the two week tours and last year I booked two of the two week tours because I loved the previous year's tour so much - I wasn't disappointed. This coming Jan/Feb 2011 I have again booked for two of the two week tours (four weeks in total).

The quality of the ski instruction is the key to why this is so good, as well as the comraderie and companionship of the ski guides, Nick and other guests. Extremely well organised and the ski instructors have the opportunity to get to know you as a person and this really helps with them knowing how to get the best from you.

The extra things Nick organises to ensure we have fun as well are wonderful - schnapps in the snow, apres drinks, pizza nights etc. The instructors and Nick really care about our welfare and making sure we have fun and that we really do improve our skiing - they are really focussed on making sure we do get the best instruction and that we also have fun along the way.

I just love these tours. The attention to detail and the attention given to each guest is wonderful and above and beyond what they actually need to do.

Trek Climb Ski offer an amazing ski holiday. The staff are friendly, highly qualified and professional. The mountains are incredible, with huge diversity of breathtaking terrain, and endless wide ski runs of beautiful powder where you often have the run to yourself.

The on snow program caters for all abilities with as much or as little instruction as people want, with the emphasis on having fun. The holiday is exceptionally good value for the price.

The accommodation is close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife and all amenities. With so many of the guest returning year after year, it has the feel somewhat of a family reunion.

Most importantly this holiday is fun fun fun!

I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone regardless of ability.

My cousin Lindsay Thomas from Sydney has been taking his family to Aspen for years whilst I had limited myself to Victoria's Mt Buller. He told me once that I have never "really" been skiing and that I should go to Aspen and prove him right.

Well I took the bait and joined Nick Farr's tour 2 in 2009. I was greeted on arrival at Pitkin airport by Nick's friendly team and soon was enjoying a social get together and information briefing with 24 other guests, many of them "returnees". After acclimatising to the altitude and matched with a group of 5 with similar skill-sets, our first ski day was Aspen Mountain. Our guide soon found the magical powder and I was on a steep learning curve.

For the next 13 days I enjoyed the best snow, mountains, tuition, accommodation and weather whilst socialising with this friendly group of Australasian people.

On my return to Mt Buller I was surprised and delighted to notice that instead of always trailing my lodge mates down the slopes and runs, I am right up there with the lead group and now sometimes lead the way.

I'm returning to Aspen in 2011 because I get the best value for my overseas ski dollar with TCS and my Mt Buller buddies are now reviewing their future travel plans.

Having first come with friends five years ago, I keep coming back to Aspen because of the great skiing tour that Nick Farr and his team put together at Ski Aspen. Two weeks on the Aspen mountains with Nick's team of expert guides does amazing things for your skiing. With their advice you can push yourself to the next level, whether it's about improving your technique or being adventurous and jumping off a mountain.

Nick's tour is always a great mix of people, and the combination of incredible snow, fantastic guides and a great social activities makes Aspen a brilliant place to visit.
