24th December 2023 (2 Days) at Shiga Kogen & Togakushi.

My Partner (47) who has skied once, convinced me (50) to ski in Japan. I have never skied in my life but agreed to trial the Japan Powder Culture Tours. We found the information online with promising reviews.
Jase and his crew Gus, Oscar, George & Harry were amazing! They are very welcoming and fun!
Special Thank You to Gus & Oscar our coaches for 2 days, they were so patient and helped us to improve our skiing skills in just 48 hours! Especially me, I was able to go up the chair lift and ski down about ten times on Day 2! Yes, fell several times but at least it was a soft powdery snow :)

Our accommodation at Biyu-no-yado was also great. We stayed 3 nights at a Japanese style room (sleep on futon on the floor). The room was clean, the service was excellent and the breakfast & dinner were also good. The highlight was the onsen, you must try after a long skiing day. It is liberating!

I highly recommend JPC to anyone from any age group or any background, whether you are a beginner or expert, single, couple or family.

Please make sure you visit the snow monkey park, they are super cute!
