Day 1
Arrival into Bariloche. Meet your guides and fellow adventures. Enjoy your first Argentine “copa de vino” while travelling to nearby
Villa La Angostura, a picturesque lakeside ski town just below Cerro Bayo Ski Resort. Savor your first Argentine meal and then off to bed for tomorrow’s first day of adventure!
Day 2-3
Two days skiing at
Cerro Bayo Ski Resort which towers over the famous Lago (lake) Nahuel Huapi offering sweeping views of this majestic 100 km long lake. Cerro Bayo offers terrain for all skiers from steep terrain with fresh tracks for those want a short hike, to long lengthy groomers. Get comfortable on your skis, while enjoying the warmth of this friendly and relaxed ski centre.
Day 4
Travel day south to the Patagonian town of
Esquel. Along the way visit the hippy town of El Bolson for lunch and its colourful artisan market. Esquel is the gateway community for La Hoya Ski Resort and has the definite feel of Patagonia with light winds ever present down the dusty streets. We spend the evenings here sharing matte and enjoying the Patagonian gaucho hospitality.
Day 5-7
Three days skiing at
La Hoya with its excellent off-piste terrain and exceptionally dry Patagonian powder. The name derives from the mountain shape, which is a wide circular glacial basin that offers great sweeping steeps and fresh snow. La Hoya's uncrowded slopes, varied terrain and location in the heart of the Patagonian Andes make it a truly unique Argentine ski destination. On the afternoon of the third day we travel to Bariloche.
Day 8
Day 8-11
4 days of skiing at the largest ski area in Argentina,
Cerro Catedral Ski Resort, on the edge of the vibrant city of
Bariloche. This modern ski area includes over 3,000 acres of in-bounds terrain and 39 lifts! The Snow Gods often bless us with deep powder days here.
On one of these days you have the option to ski Argentina's largest cat ski operation, Baguales Mountain Reserve that offers over 34,000 acres of fresh snow and runs with up to 3000 ft of vertical.
In the evenings, we will take advantage of Bariloche’s great nightlife and wealth of restaurants offering local Patagonian trout, salmon, and its famous beef. Also there are ample shopping opportunities at great prices.
Day 12
Transfers to airport for your flight home.
