Himalayan Heli Adventures - Odyssey Packages

Since 1990, Manali has been the operations base for the most spectacular and exciting heli-skiing operation in the world. The “Valley of the Gods”, where Manali lies, is a mystical land of temples and goddesses; a place where snow leopards prey on the flocks of goats and the gods determine the proper conduct of life. The valley is a place removed from the frenzy of our Western world. Incense, temples, Tibetan monks, exotic curries: these are the après-skiing experiences of the Himalaya. See more about Himalayan Heli Adventures here >>

The Odyssey package incorporates all of the elements of the Exclusive Private package with the main difference being you share the helicopter with other guests as opposed to your own group.

Deluxe accommodation, 30,500 metres of heliskiing, all chef cooked meals, qualified guide (max 4 guests per guide), cultural experiences and more are all included.

Lodging: Manu Allaya

In Manali HHA has arranged comfortable mountain lodging for their guests. The hotel contains a restaurant and bar, and the food is hearty and excellently prepared. The garden-side heli-pad is only 30 m (100 ft) from the guest rooms. All rooms are individually heated with private baths and comfortable beds.

There is also plenty of hot water, bottled water and electricity. The hotel has the capacity to operate completely independent of mains electricity supply. Facilities include a health club (sauna, steam room, spa, massage therapist and a weights room), bar, billiards room, children’s’ play room, convention hall and shops.

HHA hires its own chefs to cook and to supervise the food preparation. All water in the hotel is specially purified for your protection. The cuisine alternates between European, Indian and Southeast Asian. They can easily cater for special diets providing they have advanced notice. As the selection available in the Himalaya may not be to your taste, they recommend that you bring any liquors or wines that you may require. The bar does however have a reasonable selection of liquor, but very good wines or unusual liquors will not be available.
